Timberline County Herald is an independent online news site serving Eau Claire, WI and the surrounding area. Rooted in the community. Reporting what matters.
Our homepage brings together the latest local headlines from trusted publishers across the region, along with live weather, air quality and local conditions. Every headline links straight to the original story, and all reporting remains the property of its publisher.
Local businesses and organisations can have their announcements published in our press release section. Press releases are clearly labelled, published as supplied, and always show the name and website of the company that submitted them.
We aim to be accurate. If something on the site needs correcting, the original publisher of a headline or the submitting company of a press release is the best first point of contact, and we update pages promptly when changes are made.
